I'm really excited about "The Walking Dead". All the reviews I've read have said it's very good and character driven which is my favorite type of television viewing. I watched the first episode of "Dead Set" and I enjoyed it. It's British so sometimes it's hard to understand what they're saying. That always cracks me up because they do speak English! :) Halloween is only 2 days away!

Yep, I'm with ya, POaks! I'm bummed out I can't watch the Dead Set. Heard good things about it but don't get IFC or the channel it's on. But, I'm so stoked to see The Walking Dead. Looks like a combination of 28 Days Later, I Am Legend and Dawn of the Dead. How could that be anything but great?? I got my popcorn ready and I'll be watching The Walking Dead on Halloween night! So excited!! I know you are too. Happy Halloween!! :-)

That sucks, I'm so sorry! I'm sure it will be available on Netflix so check for it. I'm going to try to figure out my viewing plans for Sunday tonight or tomorrow. I'm not sure about the popcorn because it give me gas :) but I'll have a special snack of some kind! And a Happy Halloween to you too! :)

I enjoyed the article. Thanks for seeding it!!I will confess that I've had to give up on zombies. Every time I watch something with them, I have bad dreams. I've given up :)

      Have a Happy Halloween!!

You made me laugh, that's awesome. My son is a bit afraid of horror movies and haunted houses and such. I don't understand that at all since he's from my loins and I LOVE the scary stuff. He says it's because when he was 2 I watched Halloween with him in the room and he was totally freaked out. I know, bad parenting. But I really love that movie. So he says he's scarred for life now. I guess I did my part in screwing up my kid. Good for me! :)

Glad you enjoyed the article Starlite. You have a Happy Halloween as well!

I can "do" some scarey movies-just not zombies...From experience, if you don't do a few things to screw up your kids, they'll accuse you of it anyway...might as well have a little fun:)

Nice, I like the way you think. The zombie movies do tend to be pretty graphic. Dead Set sure is. I'm so used to scary movies they really don't bother me. It takes a pretty special flick to really scare me. My bad dreams are reality based unfortunately. :)
