The news is bad enough that three homeowners out of four in the Las Vegas Valley owe more on their houses than they're worth.

And there's no comfort in the prediction that the local real estate market won't recover for years.

I know quite a few people here in Vegas with this problem. The government and banks don't seem to want to help people who actually pay their bills and want to do the right thing. I never thought I'd feel good about renting.

    Imo, it's a 'time-element' thing; both 'timing' and length-of-time combined.
